Dry Needling
Dry needling uses the insertion of a fine and flexible needle to release shortened bands of muscle “knots” caused by abnormal functioning of the nervous system. No drugs are injected.
The needles work to decrease tension, muscle tenderness and de-activate trigger points “knots”, and increase the range of motion.
At Remedy Osteopathy, we use dry needling in combination with manual osteopathic treatment for the treatment of both acute and chronic pain.
Dry needling can be used for a variety of conditions including:
Headaches
Tennis Elbow
Bursitis
Plantar fasciitis
Lower Back Pain
Shoulder Impingement
And many more
Ask your osteopath if dry needling may be of benefit to you and assist you in getting back to doing what you love.
